At YWCA Rhode Island, we are proud to offer a wide range of programs that have a real impact on the advancement of gender equality and racial justice. To empower young women, we have developed unique programs such as Rosie's Girls STEM skills and the Fantastic Girltastic Code Company™. We also host an annual Stand Against Racism event, which brings together individuals dedicated to working towards a more equal society. Our services are available at our three campus locations in Central Falls, Providence, and Woonsocket, allowing us to serve a larger range of people across the state.
Our offerings include childcare, health education, GED and life skills for teen parents, physical activity and socialization for the young, adult and teen sports, women's political empowerment, financial literacy, and more. YWCA provides case management for women with disabilities at our permanent supportive housing program – Sarah Frances Grant Homestead and for veterans at our transitional housing program
