    AGS is committed to helping young women develop their softball skills while fostering a positive social atmosphere. We strive to instill a strong sense of sportsmanship and leadership in all our participants, from recreational to travel, showcase, and fall programs. We provide the necessary equipment and uniforms, and our team of administrators is dedicated to ensuring the program runs smoothly and with the best interests of all players in mind. We always welcome questions, concerns, suggestions, and problems from our players and their families.

    The primary objective of the Recreational program is to enable players to learn the game of fast pitch softball in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing player skills to help them be the best softball players they can be while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive softball.

    Travel Fast Pitch Softball

    The Apponaug Pride Travel Program is a program for players looking to take their game to the next level. This program is designed for the player looking for a more rigorous schedule, multiple weekly organized practices, as well as participation in 6-8 competitive tournaments throughout the summer. Since Apponaug Girls Softball is a non-profit organization, the cost is minimal while the quality of coaching and facilities remains superior. We may offer two teams at each level and a tryout is necessary to become part of this team.

    Showcase Travel Teams

    Showcase softball is more for the players whom have mastered the many skills and fundamentals needed to progress in the sport of Fast Pitch Softball. These players play, not only for the love of competing in this sport, but also with the desire to play at the collegiate level. Tournaments in which these teams attend, are also attended by college scouts. We offer two teams at this level and a try out is necessary to become part of this team.
