2022 marks 77 years for Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center, with a special legacy of providing a safe and welcoming environment for all. The center was purchased by the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1944, and the first summer of camping was 1945. Aldersgate is a place where families can come to be embraced by God’s love. A place that is full of adventure, a place to make lifelong friendships, and a place to learn about God’s love. Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center is a place of belonging, where everyone is welcomed and every person is loved for who they are. We strive to create a community where each person can find peace and joy in their relationship with God. 2022 marks 77 years of Aldersgate’s special legacy of providing a safe and welcoming environment.
