Einstein's Workshop is a hands-on community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. During the summer, we offer STEAM camps for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Camp topics include Minecraft, LEGO robotics, 3D printing, Dungeons&Dragons, science, math, chess, programming, game learning, digital art, making, inventing, and engineering. During the school year we offer classes on the same topics and coach FIRST LEGO League teams. We host birthday parties for lovers of Minecraft, LEGO, and hands-on fun! We also offer drop-in hours for spontaneous play in our STEAM Play Space.
The conference center, along with the three retreat houses and the Pine Grove Buildings, provide a peaceful and serene atmosphere in which to enjoy the beauty of nature. Canonicus is committed to preserving and enhancing the beauty of its natural environment, so each of the buildings has been designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape. Through the development of these facilities, Canonicus has been able to provide a place for people to renew their spirit and learn more about how to appreciate God’s creations.
Located in Exeter, Rhode Island, Tomaquag Museum offers a variety of programs and activities that focus on Indigenous history, culture, arts, and Mother Earth. Through its interactive exhibits, lectures, workshops, and special events, the museum seeks to create a space for education, understanding, and celebration of Indigenous history, culture, and identity. It also works to provide meaningful opportunities to interact with, understand, and learn from Indigenous people and cultures, and to foster dialogue and action on modern Indigenous issues.
Exeter-West Greenwich Little League has been a pillar of our community since 1974, offering an opportunity for boys and girls to learn the invaluable lessons of teamwork, competition, and sportsmanship. Each year, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for up to 200 youth to learn the fundamentals of baseball and gain the leadership skills that they can take with them into their future. We are a community-based organization, dedicated to shaping our young people into responsible citizens. Our program is focused on teaching the skills of baseball while also developing confidence and leadership abilities within each child. Through the Exeter-West Greenwich Little League, we are proud to be a part of the development of the future leaders of our community.
