It’s been 21 years since Nancy Scelsa opened her art school in the historic town of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Each class teaches a new technique, giving students the chance to explore the medium and create their own individual projects. From basket weaving and jewelry-making to garment construction and quilting, there’s something for everyone interested in the world of art. Nancy Scelsa has been teaching art for two decades in the picturesque town of East Greenwich. The school offers a wide variety of courses, from basket weaving and jewelry-making to quilting and garment construction. With so many options, there’s something to suit every budding artist. Junior Art Classes
Our young students, ages 5-9, learn painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and multi-media. As they build their skills, they gain a sense of confidence and a deeper appreciation for art.

Youth Art Classes
Students between the ages of 10 - 18 learn how to use oil, mixed media, and acrylic, as well as instruction for pastel drawing and illustration. Instructors assist with developing skills, building portfolios, and Art School Prep.
