Dancing Studio

Lisa Wilhelm Celeste has been the director of the premier dance academy in the area since 1987 in Rocky River, Ohio.  Popular for hiring a professional staff, most whom have danced around the world, all and at the college level; our “Family of Teachers” makes for a very inviting atmosphere for the dancer.

Our Students are fortunate to train during the summer, with Ballet San Jose’s Karen Gabay & Ray Rodriguez, both formerly with Cleveland Ballet, who use Wilhelm Dance as their summer home.

Whether your child is in our pre-school or pre-professional program, Lisa actively teaches all levels and subjects, as well as, oversees all instructors and classes.



Dance

Inexpensive

Designed for our youngest ballerinas. Tiny Tutus introduces your tiny dancer to the art of ballet through simple movement themes and introductory technique such as pliés, piqué pointes and tip toes. Basic tumbling and balance skills are also introduced as a small portion of these classes. Ages 3+ years old by September 1 Attire: Lavender Leotard, ballet pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, hair off face. All attire available for purchase at the studio. Performance Information: Participation includes a $75 costume fee due by November 15.



Tiny Tutus

Butterfly Ballet, Tappin’ Time and Tumblers is the second level in our preschool program curriculum. Designed for students 4 years and up. Dancers enrolled in this class will continue to build on introductory ballet technique established in Tiny Tutus as well as add in basic tap skills and movement to further establish rhythm, pattern and balance. Beginner tumbling skills such as forward rolls and cartwheels will also be introduced as a small portion of these combination classes.



Butterfly Ballet, Tappin’ Time and Tumblers 

Kindercombo is a great class for all students 5 and up entering into Kindergarten that may be just starting their dance training or continuing on from Butterfly Ballet. Working within age appropriate ballet and tap fundamentals the curriculum moves forward with emphasis on maintaining proper placement and alignment, as well as building balance and strength. Students will enjoy learning these new skills in a fun, encouraging environment while establishing a strong foundation and beginner skillset to continue their dance training for years to come.
