About NorthPointe Dance Academy

We are located in Lewis Center, Ohio just off Rt 23 & Orange Rd, housed in a beautiful 12,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art studio, right in the heart of the of the community that we love so much! Our primary goal is to inspire creativity, confidence and perseverance in every student, in and out of the studio. We are a great place for your child to experience a new recreational sport, or a professional and quality dance education for dancers who wish to receive high caliber training. Whatever skill level or goal a student enters with – uncertain beginner to seasoned performer or baby ballerina to aspiring national champion – NDA has a program to help each student to help build character and reach their highest personal potential in every aspect of their life. Our staff is committed to providing a positive experience whether it’s your first year dancing or your senior year of high school! We aim to grow healthy and focused children who have experienced the fun and joy of dance.

MOMMY & ME (AGES 18-30 MONTHS)
Mommy & Me dance classes are for children ages 18-30 months. Music, movement and basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly & positive manner. Mom, Dad or another loved one participates along during the class. Teachers keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track. Mommy and Me is a Non-Recital Class.

CREATIVE TAP/JAZZ/BALLET (AGES 5-6)
Dance class designed for 5-6 year olds combining creative movement, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop. These classes are designed for students to take 2 or more classes so they are covering 3 or 4 genres of dance!

MUSICAL THEATER (AGES 8+)
This class combines the upbeat technical aspects of jazz while including the theatrical, emotional aspects of musical theater dance. Most Musical Theater students also take Jazz for improved technique. Additional genres we recommend include Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Dance Team/Cheer.
