SHANNON SCOTT-REICHELT (OWNER)
Shannon began dancing at the age of three under the instruction Charlotte Braun. She continued her dance education at the University of Akron and graduated with a Bachelor degree in French and Dance. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, tumbling and cheerleading. She has furthered her training by attending classes at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and conventions.  

Shannon has choreographed and performed in local theater productions. She is also AACCA certified and USASF credentialed in Allstar cheerleading.  Shannon has won several honors including best choreography, best showmanship, backstage awards, best sportsmanship, best technique and numerous national and regional titles.  Shannon’s students have won numerous awards, gone on to dance professionally, cheer at the collegiate level and most importantly blossomed into well rounded healthy adults.

Our studio offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tumbling and competitive cheer classes.

We have recreation and competitive classes for all levels starting at ages three and up.

Now offering Buddy and Me 18-24 months and Tiny Tots 2-3 yrs old!

At Once Upon A Dream we believe in developing students through positive reinforcement and proper technique. Dance and cheer at OUAD help a student develop poise, self confidence and a sense of accomplishment. As adults, we all know these strengths are needed to lead a happy and healthy life.

This is studio is very beautiful! I have grown up coming here for both cheer and dance, and the whole studio is like a family. Everyone in this place is extremely warm and friendly. All the teachers are really kind and willing to support the student, and make sure it is a nice experience for the kids. The owner Shannon Reichlt is excellent and works so hard to make the studio such a great location!
