Pre-Algebra: A Prep Class

This three week, two hour per day seminar is offered to prepare students who will be taking Pre – Algebra in the fall. The course will review key concepts needed for success in Pre – Algebra. Students will practice topics in ratios, decimal and fraction operations, writing, interpreting and using expressions, equations and inequalities, and solving problems involving geometry and measurement. Pre – Algebra Prep is recommended for students who are looking to brush up on their skills in preparation for a successful Pre – Algebra experience. Course materials are provided. Algebra I: A Review Class

GRADES: 7-12 This three week, two-hour per day seminar will review the main concepts of Algebra I. Some of those concepts include solving and graphing linear equations and inequalities, powers and exponents, quadratic equations, polynomials, and factoring. Course materials are provided. This review course is designed for students that completed Algebra I and will be taking Geometry in the fall.

Pre-Calculus: A Prep Class

GRADES: 9-12 This three week, two-hour per day seminar is offered to prepare students who will be taking Pre-Calculus or Honors Pre-Calculus in the fall. The course will review key Algebra II skills needed for success in Pre-Calculus and to preview the fall semester of concepts covered in Pre-Calculus. Pre-Calculus Prep is recommended for those students who petitioned for Honors Pre-Calculus in the fall. Course materials are provided. Pre-Calculus Prep is an online course. It will be taught synchronously. Students will need a computer with online access to Google Meet. Students will receive an invite to the class Meet link prior to the start of the course.
