Spring Lake School of Dance has been providing quality dance training for the past 37 years. We are one of four studios in NJ that are certified to teach the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. We are proud to offer two spacious and air-conditioned dance studios. Our advanced Neo-Shock floor system is designed to reduce impact on feet, ankles, knees, and back. Our students learn more than just dance; they gain confidence, physical fitness, and a greater appreciation of movement and music. Our experienced instructors provide individual attention in a safe and positive setting, allowing each student to reach their full potential.

On a fateful evening in October 1975, I stepped foot inside the Theatre of the Spring Lake Community House and my entire life changed. As I looked around at the worn drapery and carpet, I had an inkling that this space could be transformed with a little money and love. Little did I know that I would become a part of this magical place for the rest of my life. That same year, the Spring Lake Recreation Committee celebrated the Country’s Bicentennial with a host of festivities. One of these was the production of the Town Play Bye Bye Birdie. It was a huge hit and I was one of the many adults and teenagers recruited to take part. After the play’s success, I had the idea that the proceeds from the production could help refurbish the Theatre. The Spring Lake Theatre Company was created the following summer and I was appointed Producer. I’ve always said that everything that has happened since was a happy accident. However, without the faith in and support of a young mother of three with no background in Theatre or management, none of this would have been possible.
