    OVERNIGHT CAMP

    YMCA Camp Bernie’s Overnight Camp is a traditional, co-ed program for kids entering grades 2-10. Campers are grouped into Units by gender and age, with each Unit divided into cabins composed of 8-10 campers and 2-3 counselors. Our traditions and camp spirit unite our overall camp community as campers are engaged in instructional activities, structured free play and memorable all-camp events each session.

    DAY CAMP

    Day Camp at YMCA Camp Bernie is a thrilling, active program for all children entering grades K-11. Our weekly sessions allow campers to enjoy and explore everything our beautiful 285-acre facility has to offer. We believe that a camp experience provides children with the unique opportunity to try new things and discover who they truly are. We will help children to make new friends, build memories and to challenge themselves daily.

    COUNSELORS IN TRAINING

    YMCA Camp Bernie’s Counselor-In-Training program provides teenagers with exciting opportunities to build character and self-esteem. Participants develop communication and leadership skills through team-building exercises and hands-on training with staff members in our program areas and cabins. Successful completion of a YMCA Camp Bernie leadership program is an outstanding accomplishment for teenagers to list on job and college applications, and is a wonderful first step in seeking employment as a counselor at our camp in future summers.
