For the past 13 years, the Movement Dance Centre has been providing Old Bridge and its surrounding areas with premiere dance training and classes. Founded in 2009 by Director Krystina Walsh and joined by Director Victoria Zanati in 2014, the Movement Dance Centre has been striving to create a positive and exciting learning environment for their students. 

The Movement Dance Centre is proud to have a passionate and encouraging staff that have either a dance degree, a professionally trained background or a professional performance background. With their expertise, they help give your dancer the tools they need to develop their dance skills, as well as poise, self-confidence and an understanding of the cultural arts.

At MDC we offer classes for dancers ages 18 Months to 9 Years Old. In our First Steps classes your dancer can learn the basics in a variety of styles. These classes are a great introduction to the world of dance. Taught by vibrant and enthusiastic teachers these classes engage dancers in a fun and exciting environment. First Steps

The Movement Dance Company is an awarding winning dance company that competes on the regional and national level. The Company holds countless Choreography Awards, Top 10 scoring routines on the regional and national level, Entertainment Awards, Technique Awards and Overall Studio Awards including our most recent ones: The Studio On Fire Award at Inferno Dance 2018 (Overall Highest Scoring Studio), The ADCC Studio of Excellence Award 2018, 2021 and 2022. The Inspired by Passion Award at GROOVE 2019 & 2020 and The Stellar Award at Beyond The Stars 2021.

Being on the team is a big but fun and super rewarding commitment. Our average company member trains 7+ hours a week in various styles of dance. When it came to "joining" a dancing studio, my daughter was hesitant. She feels at home here because they made her feel welcome. I'm not a dancing mom, but I believe that everyone there, especially the moms, is very friendly and kind.
