Dancing Studio

At Ovations, we understand that dance is not just about the steps but also about the education and development of the dancer. We strive to provide our students with a well-rounded dance education, focusing on technique, history, and discipline. Our instructors are highly trained, knowledgeable, and experienced in their field. Many of our teachers or their students have appeared on national tours, films, commercials, and talent-based reality shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, America's Best Dance Crew, and America's Got Talent. However, we also recognize that dance should be fun, and we strive to ensure that our students have an enjoyable experience while learning.

Dance

Inexpensive

This program is designed as a very fun and upbeat 1st introduction to dance. The curriculum approaches dance as making shapes, rhythms and plenty of imaginations. Dance portion is 30 minutes long followed by 15 minutes of a coordination obstacle course and basic tumbling skills like “X” cartwheels, forward rolls, and pizza rolls. The use of props and visual learning tools add a fun and exciting learning method for this class.



Mini Movers Ages 2-3

Dancers are introduced to beginner ballet technique through creative movement followed by 15 minutes of beginner tumbling.   The use of props and visual learning tools add a fun and exciting learning method for this class.



Creative Classes Ages 3-4

Musical Theater classes focus on acting through movement.  Touching on style, genre and history of the Great White Way along with improv acting and story telling-- students will see genres from ballet to jazz to hip hop.
