At Camp Nejeda, we believe in the power of summer camp! Since 1958, we have been providing unique, empowering programs for children with type 1 diabetes and their families. We offer a wide variety of programs, such as 8 weeks of traditional sleep-away camp, Family Camps, Day Camps, Spring and Fall weekend programs, T1D Adult Weekend, and Nurse Education seminars. Our summer sleep-away camps are designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children living with type 1 diabetes. They will have the opportunity to develop important skills such as self-care and problem-solving while learning to take responsibility for their own health.
