About Morristown-Beard School Day Camp in Morristown, NJ
Morristown Beard Day Camp is the perfect place for your child to make lasting memories this summer! With a state-licensed and ACA accredited facility located on a beautiful 22-acre campus, your child will have plenty of space to explore and discover. Our counselors work to promote good sportsmanship and self-confidence while helping kids develop skills in sports, arts and crafts, drama, swimming and science. Our daily schedule is comprised of structured periods, with a flexible schedule on special event days. Campers are grouped based upon their age as of Monday, June 26 and ages 4 through 13 are split by age and sex. So this summer, send your child to Morristown Beard Day Camp for a truly unique and rewarding experience! BeAKid
Traditional Day Camp
Morristown-Beard Day Camp, a state-licensed and ACA accredited facility, located on a beautiful 22-acre campus, is designed to help children develop skills in sports, arts and crafts, drama, swimming and science. Our counselors work to promote good sportsmanship and self-confidence. Our daily schedule is comprised of structured periods, with a flexible schedule on special event days. Campers ages 6 through 14 are grouped according to age and sex. Ages 4 and 5 are co-ed and grouped by age. Campers are grouped based upon their age as of Monday, June 26th. Our Traditional Camp day runs from 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Camp shows, camp t-shirt, towel service, morning and afternoon snacks and a drink at lunchtime are provided in the Traditional Camp fee. In addition, we offer additional fee programs for your convenience. Our Early Arrival program allows for drop-off from 7:30-8:30 A.M. and includes breakfast. The Extended Day program allows for pick-up until 6:00 P.M., and includes an additional snack. Finally, we offer a Lunch Program where campers can choose from a variety of daily specials.

Guppies-Half Day
Preschoolers thrive on adventure! MBS Day Camp offers a new, nurturing and attentive 1/2 day program for campers age 3 1/2 to 4 1/2. Every "Guppy" can explore all the fun and adventure of our "big kid" campers while receiving daily personalized attention. Maintaining a sense of security, our littlest campers will enjoy the freedom of movement that stimulates their independence. Our "Guppies" will be under the direction of an adult certified childcare professional along with warm, caring and experienced counselors. Group size will be limited to 15 campers in order to maintain an intimate environment where our staff can get to know each camper and attend to their individual needs while encouraging exploration. Age appropriate activities that allow our youngest campers to explore their five senses and foster creativity will be highlighted each week. Campers will enjoy four periods each day and will be provided a morning snack and drink. Athletics, performing arts, science, arts and crafts, games and aquatics are some of the activities offered during the weekly curriculum. A special "Guppy" newsletter will go home each week to inform you of the special events, dress-up days and activities planned. The highlight each week will be accomplishment and new experiences. Give your younger camper a gentle introduction into the magic of day camp! Camper's daily schedule will include a period of swimming and an outdoor recess time.

CIT Program
In this six week Counselor in Training program, former campers will learn the ins and outs of being a camp counselor. This is a hands on program geared to those seeking real experience. CITs will attend weekly training sessions to give them knowledge of what is expected when working at MBS Day Camp. Each CIT will be placed in two different camp groups throughout the summer, one for the first three weeks of the program, and another for the last three weeks. In addition, each CIT will keep a journal documenting weekly experiences and can be expected to be evaluated several times throughout the program. Before care, lunch and aftercare are included in the price of the program.
