This fun and educational 30 minute class is a young student’s first introduction to Music. The class is centered around basic hand and note positions on the Piano and strengthens the student’s counting, writing and alphabet skills. Additionally, they begin to learn about music notes, pitch and tempo while developing memory skills that will aid them in all subjects. This class is recommended for children age 3 to 5 years.



My First Notes

This popular 30 minute class is a slightly more advanced version of “My First Notes” and is targeted at slightly older students who have developed basic reading skills. Piano skills are expanded to include “C” position, proper hand placement and reading Piano music. Once again, we are strengthening language, math, reading and writing skills along the way. This class is recommended for children age 4 to 8 years.



Music & Me

This course allows for the choice of Piano, Guitar or Ukulele as a primary instrument. Students will learn how to play the instrument (beginner level), read music for that instrument and care for the instrument.  Group and one on one instruction (limited) is provided during the class. Students will learn basic proficiencies on the instrument and participate in group performance of songs.

Since 8 months ago, Kevin has been instructing my 13-year-old son. Typically, the first hour of his session is spent learning guitar strumming and playing methods. The student gets to choose a song for about 30 minutes, and they both listen to it and break it down to learn how to play. They start to play and understand their roles quite quickly. When you have a fantastic teacher like Kevin, it comes together in an astounding amount of time. He is really kind and passionate about what he does. He is certainly a master in his field, so I would heartily suggest him to players of any skill level.
