Set in an 1865 railroad station, the Wortendyke Pottery Studio has a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. Professional potters teach students to expand and explore their own creativity in clay. All classes are taught on a one-to-one basis, covering all aspects of creating with clay – coil, slab and pinch methods of handbuilding, leading to the pottery wheel, focusing on both functional and decorative ceramics. Established in 1964 as Albert & Schlenz Studio-Gallery, Judy Losapio purchased the studio in 1989 and transformed it into a ceramic art studio and fine-American crafts gallery. Judy has been working in clay for 38 years. She studied ceramic art, design, and education at Alfred University. Clay is her passion and the studio reflect this enthusiasm. Wortendyke Studio is a place to come and relax, unwind, to forget about your busy life, and explore your creativity. Our mission is to teach adults and children ceramic art by inspiring their individual artistic talents, and to develop those talents to their fullest.

Kim’s Martial Arts focuses on teaching traditional Tae Kwon Do, Karate Hapkido and Self Defense through a complete mind and body exercise. Grandmaster Kim has taught students from Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Wyckoff and the surrouding Bergen County area since 1979. By promoting a family atmosphere and focusing on nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits and a positive attitude, students grow physically, mentally and spiritually. We differ from most schools in that Grandmaster Kim personally oversees all classes. He is one of the few original Grandmasters that still teaches today. Kim’s Martial Arts is family run and operated and all of our instructors and Masters have trained with Grandmaster Kim, some as long as 35 years! His son Master Paul a 4th Degree black belt is also the head Master alongside him. Kim’s Martial Arts has only one location as Grandmaster Kim believes that students maximize benefits when they learn directly from him and his trained instructors.
