For more than 105 years the Jewish Community Center has been a focal point of the Atlantic County community. It has been a place where families come together, Jewish culture thrives, children are cared for and their futures shaped.  The Atlantic County community has flourished in substantial part as the result of the JCC’s programs and services. Couples have met each other at the JCC and their children have benefited intellectually, physically and socially from their own JCC experiences.

Times have changed, but the need for the JCC in Atlantic County has not. To serve those needs the JCC must continue to keep pace with changes in our region to remain a positive force within the community. Now is the time to renew the vision of our founders and revitalize our JCC for future generations, ensuring that the JCC continues to be a place where families learn, play, and develop lifelong connections.  We must serve our Jewish community as well as the broader Atlantic County community with new and varied programs that reflect both the complexity of the Jewish experience and life in our modern world.

For the youngest of learners our infant and toddler program offers an environment that is safe, warm and secure. Our infants and toddlers explore at their own pace: eating when they are hungry, sleeping when they are tired and playing when they are active. Our caregivers and classroom spaces encourage infant and toddler exploration with stimulation that promotes cognitive, physical, social-emotional and language development.

The Milton & Betty Katz JCC Early Childhood Education Center is open to members and guests, however, guests are required to pay an additional $35 per month, per child enrolled. Placement depends on child’s age by October 1 of the enrolled year. Yearly placement and fee adjustments after initial enrollment are made each September, not on the child’s birthday. 



Infant & Toddler Childcare

At the Katz JCC, we celebrate our terrific two-year-old children. Two-year-old children are especially active and beginning to assert their independence. As such, we offer an active, sensory based meaningful experience. In our two-year-old classrooms you will find areas for exploring, learning, sleeping, eating and diapering that are designed with safety in mind while encouraging independence.



Two-Year-Old Childcare

The Katz JCC Swim Academy offers one of the highest levels of swim instruction in Atlantic County. All instructors are certified lifeguards with CPR/AED and First Aid training.

Swimmers are able to develop their strokes and master the fundamentals with private lesson options designed to meet their needs. All swim lessons are geared towards the individual swimmers current level or ability and goals.
