Outdoor Soccer

Each team plays one game a week, either on Friday evening or Saturday morning, and we publish a full schedule about two weeks before the start of each season. Until we have published the schedule we cannot guarantee that a particular team will play on a given day or at a particular time, and for most divisions it will vary from week to week. Occasionally we have to schedule evening make-up games on other days of the week.

Challenger Program

The Challenger program is for players aged 5-12 who have special needs. Challenger players receive individual attention, and are not assigned to teams. This co-ed program runs on Saturday mornings during our Fall and Spring seasons. The Challenger program is designed to offer a socialization opportunity through athletic participation. Some volunteers may be available to assist as peer coaches. The program has been embraced by our community because it offers children with disabilities an opportunity to develop soccer skills.

Under-4 Program

The Under-4 (U4) Introductory program allows young children to participate in our soccer program. The U4 division is a purely instructional program that utilizes fun activities to introduce basic soccer skills without the pressures of the competitive nature of the game. Activities are designed to teach skills like dribbling, shooting and identifying the names of the areas on a soccer field. Players are grouped into teams at the start of the season, and you can request that your child be assigned with a special friend or coach. Your child’s team will share a small soccer field with a different team every week, and activities include games with the other team. These are not traditional soccer games, but group-oriented games where every child has opportunities for time with the soccer ball.
