Martha N04/14/20225For my boyfriend's birthday, I reserved a spot in a wheel throwing class. It was only the two of us and Monica, who was a fantastic teacher. Each of us is required to create three pieces that will be painted and glazed for us. If you want to try something new or get a little dirty, I highly recommend this as a fun exercise.
Donna J08/19/20225Before I joined a year and a half ago, I took two rounds of wheel throwing classes as a student. I adore being able to work independently with my own key and not having to fit studio hours around my schedule! Owner Monica is well-stocked with hues and samples made from various clays. Your pieces are fired frequently since the kilns are on a regular basis. When I first started doing hand building, all of the members were quite helpful. Everyone there is eager to support and encourage one another.
Daisy W03/24/20225I adore this location! Every week, my daughter and I look forward to attending our courses at Mud & Soul. Monica is fantastic, and she maintains a stunning and immaculate studio. We have had a wonderful time throughout, and I heartily suggest this studio to anyone with a passion for ceramics.
Mary V02/08/20225This extremely competent studio provides services for both hand and wheel builders as well as artists of all skill levels. Monica, the studio director, is constantly on hand to lend a helping hand. She always has a wide variety of clays and glazes on hand, and she loads her kilns meticulously. To top it all off, there is a friendly camaraderie among the artists who happily accept all newcomers and share ideas.
Josh B10/13/20215I first came here to take throwing lessons before joining as a full member. Monica is an excellent instructor that teaches each pupil how to incorporate their unique flair when working with clay! The participants of the studio feel a strong sense of community and the space is tidy and practical. Definitely worth stopping by to view the members' artwork and participate in a workshop on the second Saturday of each month.
