Dancing Studio

Meet Danna Crooke, the Director and Owner of D&O Protégés Dance Studio. Danna is an accomplished and creative dancer who graduated from J&L Dance Center after 15 years of study. During her time there, she won numerous awards for her solo performances at national competitions in the tri-state area. Her dedication and hard work led to her founding her first dance team at the age of 16 at Kearny High School. She was even allowed to choreograph school plays and coordinate assembly dance shows and pep rallies.

Danna’s art has taken her on performance tours around the world, from Puerto Rico to the Dominican Republic, and everywhere in between. She has had the opportunity to perform for many artists, such as Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Prince Royce, Ashanti, and Oro Solido. Her natural ability to entertain, combined with her gracefulness, style, hard work and determination, has enabled her to master the art of dance.

Danna Crooke’s impressive career as a dancer has been nothing short of remarkable. From humble beginnings at J&L Dance Center to performing around the world, her accomplishments are a testament to her dedication and hard work. She has demonstrated a natural ability to entertain, and her gracefulness, style, and determination have all contributed to her success in mastering the art of dance.

D&O Babies dance class is 30 minutes in length. The initiative for this class is to teach structure and creativity in ballet, tap and creative movement and having fun while doing so. Young dancers learn the basic steps while learning how to follow directions and imitate movement in a positive space.



D&O BABIES (Ages 2-3)

Future stars dance class is 45 mins in length instructing ballet +tap, ballet+ flamenco, or hip hop + acro. The purpose of this class is to introduce two styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive space. Dancers learn steps and terminology in both styles.



FUTURE STARS (Ages 3-4)

Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop, Flamenco, Contemporary,  Stretch/Body &Conditioning, Leaps, Jumps, & Turns, Adult (Salsa, Heels Foundation & Hip Hop) Private lessons



5 & UP (ALL LEVELS)

I love this school you really feel at home and everyone is family.  The teachers never give up.  Once or twice we have auditions for the company team and when i had found put i made it i felt even more welcome. At the end of the day i am so lucky to have this big family forever.
