About One River School in Englewood, NJ
Founded in 2012, “one river” west of New York City, One River School® has developed a unique method for teaching art and digital design classes to people of all ages and all levels. Today, our innovative program teaches thousands of students in fourteen locations across the U.S. At One River School, our students simply have more fun learning to create and produce compelling art. It is our belief that we are transforming art education®, as well as providing an experience that changes lives in the communities that we serve.

BeAKid
KIDS CLASSES
One River School has become the most compelling place for kids to develop their passion for art. We created a method that allows our youngest students to learn via our project-based curriculum that is focused on studying current artwork and “learning through the lens of living artists”. This process allows kids to develop an interest in the art of today and they get to apply it across all media including painting, drawing, mixed media, and more.

TEEN CLASSES
One River School is the most compelling place for creative teens to explore their passion for art and design. Our school was built on a mission to “transform art education” and to do so we have developed over 10 years of original curriculum that allows teens to learn concepts that are truly unique to the One River experience. As a result, our teen students often tell us that One River is the thing they most look forward to each week. We take pride in knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of today’s youth by teaching them to think differently, make new friends, develop greater confidence and maximize their pure creative potential.
