We emphasize the art-making process over the final product in children's art and therefore offer opportunities for open-ended art exploration and authentic self-expression. That increases the feeling of inclusion and independence, decision-making, and sense of mastery. We recognize the value of the creative processes while providing individualized fine arts instruction where children have opportunity to express themselves with a variety of art techniques and mediums, while creating original artworks through the exploration of art history.
