Over 4 weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of quilting beginning with color theory and fabric selection, rotary cutting, and finishing techniques. 


Begin Quilting - In Class - Saturday Workshop

Sewing Machine in good working order, basic sewing/rotary cutting supplies, Fabric as indicated in pattern, Crown and Anchor Pattern. Creative Grids 4 in 1 Flying Geese ruler (optional, recommended)


Crown & Anchor Quilt

Join us for a year of seasonal Wonky Houses.. each month we will stitch two fun, different house blocks.  You can turn your blocks into individual runners, banners, or a full neighborhood quilt.

Club meets the second Monday of each month .

There are 4 design files with 6 houses and a bonus block which you can purchase quarterly prior to club.  There are also two bonus cd’s which will be available but not required for class.

Every time I've visited the Quilted Nest, I've had a good time.  The instructors are top-notch and take their time going over instructions with each student.  They will show you how to finish your sewing or quilting project, but it is ultimately up to you to do so.
