At The Piano Workshop in Chester, we offer private one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone and instruction in pro-tools and logic software. Our studio is designed to provide a wonderful environment, optimum teaching conditions, perfect acoustics and high quality pianos. All of our teachers have a degree in music education, performance or pedagogy, and extensive resumes of professional performances and experience.
We understand that music instruction is for everyone, no matter what age. That’s why we offer programs for early childhood music development, elementary, middle and high school students, graduate school performance candidates and even retired (or not yet retired) adults. Our teachers are passionate and dedicated to helping all of our students reach their highest potential.

Program for children ages 0-7
This program focuses on the development of the whole child. Using music and movements, children engage in activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional development as well as fine and gross motor skills. According to research, integrating music into a child’s daily routine actually improves his or her ability to think, reason, create, and express. Kindermusik (R) strives to engage children in an ageappropriate and socially acceptable environment. Kindermusik (R) aids in the development of the whole child, including: Phonological processing, spoken language and comprehension skills that are the foundation of reading, Spatial-temporal and reasoning skills required for math and science, Social and emotional skills essential for school readiness, Development of brain cells needed for virtually every kind of intelligence, Refinement and improvement of gross and fine motor skills
