Mercedes has a deep-seated love for horses that has followed her for her entire life. She started riding in her homeland of Argentina and has continued to do so wherever her travels have taken her. Now, her aim for River Edge is to create a peaceful space for horses where they will be provided with exceptional care and management.

At River Edge, riders will have the opportunity to work with horses and learn how to ride in a natural and supportive environment. They'll be able to practice the art of tacking up, grooming, and more, all while gaining a deeper understanding of horses. 

With Mercedes' passion for horses and her drive to provide the best care for them, River Edge is sure to be a paradise for both horses and riders alike.

Horseback Riding Lessons

At River Edge Farm Riding Day Camp we believe that girls will greatly benefit from the interaction with ponies/horses, the environment and each other in a supportive, friendly and fun setting. Based in fun activities and adventures the girls will unwittingly develop a higher self-esteem and independence. Some of our main objectives are:
To offer the opportunity to learn, relax, and enjoy themselves
To give campers a fun-filled, safe, and healthy summer
To teach campers an appreciation and respect for the outdoors and nature
To give campers confidence and competence in social and recreational skills while creating a positive self-image.

Our 14-year-old, who enjoys riding and caring for horses, has two weeks reserved at River Edge.  I have nothing but amazing things to say about this camp.  My daughter adored the people, the horses, and even the meals.  She met new people, and every night at supper, she shared tales of her activities, her discoveries, and her enjoyment of the day.  The safety procedures were first-rate.  Overall, a fantastic program. The only thing I regret is not having reserved more time.
