At the Marcia Hyland Dance & Arts Center, we are passionate about teaching the performing arts in a caring and nurturing environment. Our faculty takes great care in ensuring that each student is provided with a complete and thorough education in the musical theatre and dance arts.

Our professional faculty is always on the cutting edge of the newest and best teaching techniques for musical theatre jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and tap. Our classes offer a unique combination of education and creative choreography, setting us apart from other dance and arts centers in the tri-state area. Our instructors are passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for each student, so they can learn and develop their skills without ever feeling overwhelmed.

Affordable

This unique class brings both parent and child into an environment of fun and creativity. Be involved as you and your 2-year-old learn the fundamentals of dance, music, and tumbling.

 

Mommy and Me

A varied program in technique and style offering motivating jazz and ballet choreography.  A favorite with young people, channeling their active minds and encouraging expression.
Group Classes Available for:
ages 3 – 4, ages 5 – 6, ages 7 – 8, Pre-teens, and Teens

Ballet – Jazz – Gymnastics Performance

With the return of tap to the theatre scene, we are offering complete tap classes for those interested in a more thorough background of American dance.
Classes Available for:
Youth (4 – 6 & 7 – 8), Pre-Teen (age 7 – 12), Teen-Age (13 and over), and Adult.
