Established in 1854, The Granite YMCA has been part of the state for over 166 years. We have branches in six locations across the state – Manchester, Goffstown, Concord, Londonderry, Portsmouth, and Rochester – and provide a range of youth development, healthy living, family strengthening, and social responsibility services. We also offer camping programs to help foster growth and development in young people. 

Our commitment to the community extends beyond our programming. In 2020, The Granite YMCA provided over $1 million in assistance to 5,144 individuals across New Hampshire. This included a sliding scale fee structure to ensure those in need had access to our services, free use of facilities to various non-profits, camp scholarships, and reduced fee or free child care services.

Our program stimulates children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. We provide a highly trained staff in a warm, caring, and fun environment that encourages their natural curiosity and personal expression. Our age-appropriate curriculum helps academically engage children while emphasizing social skills, imaginative play, and motor development. Children participate in fun physical activities and character-building programs such as:

Early Learning Center

Our Before & After School Program is a fun, safe and productive way for your child to spend their time before and after school. The Y offers a wide range of supervised activities including structured homework time, physical fitness, arts & crafts, thematic programming, and STEM, with a variety of enrichment opportunities.

Before & After School Care

No school? No problem! The Y offers a variety of options to keep your child active and engaged all day long during days off from school. In-house programs, specialty camps, trips camps, and more are available on those holidays, school vacations, and no school days
