At Waukeela, we understand the importance of the camp experience in the overall development of young women. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment in which campers can explore their potential, make lifelong friendships, and gain the confidence to take on new challenges. We have been cultivating confidence in girls since 1922. Waukeela Camp for Girls provides a unique opportunity for girls to build self-assurance and friendship. Our program allows campers to choose from a variety of activities, including swimming, theater, pottery, and sports. In a safe and supportive atmosphere, campers can explore and develop their talents, build character, and gain the confidence to take on new challenges. Our experienced staff are dedicated to helping each girl reach her full potential while having fun and making lifelong friendships. With over 90 years of experience, Waukeela Camp for Girls is committed to helping young women gain the self-assurance they need to succeed in life.

Programs at Waukeela in Eaton Center, NH
BeAKid
JUNIOR ALLEY GRADES 2-8
Campers ages 7 to 13 years old live in our Junior Alley! We call each section of Waukeela an “alley” because our cabins are lined up in two rows facing each other. Campers living in Junior Alley form close bonds with their cabin mates and counselors. Juniors at Waukeela have the opportunity to try every activity we offer and build up their skills in many areas they may not otherwise try at home. Juniors swim every day and are instructed by our Red Cross-Certified lifeguards and water safety instructors. Juniors are offered an option to choose an additional activity in which they would like to participate each day. This schedule gives our Juniors a chance to excel in specific skills and the space to grow. During this growth period in their lives, Juniors have access to incredible role models in our staff members and support from older campers and their Waukeela sisters.

SENIOR ALLEY GRADES 9-11
Campers ages 14 to 16 years old live in our Senior Alley. Seniors are the leaders of camp and are given more freedom and responsibility throughout the Waukeela experience. Seniors pick their own activities each morning, which allows them an opportunity to grow and build advanced skills within their passion areas. Seniors serve as role models to our Juniors and are given leadership opportunities throughout the summer.

ACTIVITIES & TRIPS
Whether you love sports, arts or adventure, Waukeela has many fantastic activities!. We offer over 30 activities in performing arts, creative arts, land sports, water sports and outdoor adventure. As a part of our program, Waukeela campers get the chance to try many activities they have never experienced before, in addition to choosing her own favorite activity each day. Waukeela also offers a fantastic adventure program where campers can canoe, hike, backpack and climb right in our own beautiful backyard.
