Strings & Things Music has been providing Concord, NH with quality music merchandise, services, and events since 1982. Our family-owned independent music store is proud to offer tax-free shopping for our wide selection of goods and services. We have an experienced team of full time members, all of whom are active performers in the local music scene. Our team includes owner Mike Bilodeau, Eric Bilodeau, Mike Gallant, and Erik Hodges.

On top of our full time team, we also have over twenty instructors and three instrument repairmen to help meet your needs. We also have a strong network of music industry connections that can help you get what you need. We strive to offer friendly, attentive service and a warm atmosphere, with great prices that support buying local. We invite you to come to us for all your musical needs, from strings to guitars, lessons to repairs. It is our pleasure to serve the music community in New Hampshire and beyond!

The foundation of our education department is our lesson program. Students work one-on-one with one of our many fine instructors to create an individualized course of study in their selected instrument and style. Lessons will simultaneously meet the wants and needs of the student while addressing the practical and theoretical skills necessary to achieve their musical goals.

Individual Instruction

Another facet of our education department is the Strings & Things Workshop Series. We host a series of clinics & workshops featuring both visiting artists and local professional musicians right here in the store. These are always free and open to the public! Check our home page for the next upcoming event. Past events include guitar, drum, home recording, folk instrument, and instrument repair & maintenance clinics, Los Angeles jazz guitarist Tim Fischer, and seacoast-based Christian Music group Blood & Water.
