Shem P07/20/20225Today's trip to the museum with our 10-year-old was enjoyable. The museum really surpassed our expectations. A lot of enjoyable activities and local science and history information. The displays and old town models are excellent. Exceptional value, too. Definitely a recommendation.
Larry W07/20/20225The personnel was polite and accommodating, and in addition to the mobile planetarium presentation that was offered, there were a lot of displays and hands-on play spaces for children. highly suggest to others, whether they have kids or not.
Jim N08/16/20225My wife and I recently moved to Wilmington, and today we had the chance to visit the museum. We were thrilled to see the impressive renovations made since our previous visit a few years ago. What a wonderful approach to discover more about our brand-new community! Everyone, young and old, should go see this local treasure!

Steph S07/11/20225Wow, just wow. We visited the Cape Fear Museum of History and Science for three hours, but we still didn't feel like it was enough, so we will return in a week. My two children (3 and 6) had a great time exploring the interactive exhibits; the space room with its variety of solar system-related games was their favorite. They have never before appeared to be so animated. Even my spouse, who often doesn't like museums, had a terrific day visiting the Space Place. My kids were enthralled by the outdoor activities and didn't want to leave. I heartily suggest going to this museum, especially if you have children.
