About Eagle's Nest Camp
At Eagle’s Nest Camp, nestled in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, children can experience a summer like no other. School age children have the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and immerse themselves in nature while developing their own unique skills. Our compassionate and encouraging community values each child and treats them with respect and kindness.
At Eagle’s Nest, children are encouraged to be curious, creative, and independent. We fill our days with activities that promote growth and help foster a sense of friendship and joyful living. Our inclusive and supportive community helps create a sense of belonging and provides the perfect opportunity for children to become their best selves.
Eagle’s Nest Camp is the perfect place for children to slow down and experience the beauty of nature while growing and developing in a safe and encouraging environment. Our campers are valued for who they are and encouraged to explore and discover their potential.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Added Adventure Program
Each summer, Eagle’s Nest Camp offers Added Adventure programs for campers who desire both the in-camp experience and an extended off-campus adventure! From the exciting new French Broad Escapades Adventure to a thrilling week of camping at the beach in South Georgia and many other adventures, Added Adventures offer something for all our campers who have finished 5th through 6th grades.
Junior Counselor Program
Junior counselors (JCs) are rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning about being counselors. Twelve JCs are chosen for each camp session to help the counselors on staff supervise campers. While JCs are still considered campers and are expected to follow the rules set forth for campers, they are given extra responsibilities and participate in leadership classes.
Hante Adventure Program
Each year, a new selection of Hante Adventure wilderness trips are offered. Whether they’re rock climbing in Colorado, whitewater paddling in North Carolina, or trekking across the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hante participants are sure to come away from their experience with increased confidence and a strong connection to the natural world.
