Albert F03/14/20215When all or most music schools were temporarily suspending lessons due to the epidemic, that's when I first learned about The New School For Music Study. One of them was the piano lessons for my kid. When I heard about The New School for Music Study via family in New Jersey, I had nearly given up hope of finding lessons for daughter for that year after doing a thorough search. Thankfully, they were willing to transition to virtual sessions and were ready to accept an out-of-state student. They are quite professional, I must say. My kid has a wonderful teacher who is genuine, gifted, likeable, and highly motivating. There are benchmark assessments to determine a student's progress, and the classes are in-depth.
Warren V04/17/20215Both of my children attended NSMS and have since excelled as musicians. I credit faculty at this school with a large portion of the credit, as well as the foundation they have learnt in piano. The staff genuinely wants to support students in reaching their goals and is kind and competent. I advise anyone interested in learning the piano to stop by and have a listen.
Lanie C06/20/20215Over the past seven years, I've been taking piano lessons. I've been taking piano lessons with Kairy Koshoeva at NSMS for the past 12 months. I have no doubt that Kairy has been the finest instructor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She is not only a very talented pianist but also an excellent teacher of piano to adults with various levels of proficiency. She teaches any given skill or theoretical subject with patience and creativity. She offers me several tools and techniques to help me practice and perfect a piece in order to achieve a specific level of fluency and performance. I've been really lucky to run into Kairy. In comparison to last year, I've learnt more
Matilda R03/17/20225We have been really happy to be a part of it ever since it was first suggested to my grandson as a school of choice. The instructors are outstanding musicians and performers in addition to being devoted and seasoned educators. Along with teaching students how to read music and play the piano, they will put an emphasis on fostering and developing their musicality, ear training, sense of rhythm, and performing abilities. Children typically perform in a variety of settings. For students who are driven by greatness, school also offers guidance in taking Royal Conservatory Exams.
Samantha Z08/25/20225My kid has attended New Music School for the past three years and counting since kindergarten. Our child has had three different instructors (both group and private), all of whom were really kind and kind and who made my child feel at ease and enjoy music through cultivating a love for the arts. NMS differs from other music programs in that it offers two lessons each week, one hour of group instruction and one hour of private instruction. This is really one of the greatest approaches to laying the proper musical foundations: first, emphasize clapping and tapping, then subsequently, add theory and emphasize ear training. Additionally, it is important to note how the school relocated to guarantee the same standard of care was offered during the pandemic when everything failed.
