A crescendo is a gradual increase in volume in music or any other situation. It is often used by composers to indicate that the music should become louder and more intense over time. In non-musical contexts, it is used to describe a situation in which the volume is gradually increasing, such as when more people enter a room and the conversation becomes louder. Occasionally, a crescendo is so significant that it is simply referred to as ‘the crescendo.’ At Crescendo Academy of Music, we strive to provide accessible music lessons and classes to everyone, and our teaching artists and performers are committed to helping every student grow and enjoy their music.
