In the late 1960s, Dan Pratt, a musician and educator, stumbled upon a revolutionary music program in Germany that allowed young children to explore their creative side while meeting crucial developmental milestones. Recognizing the impact that this program had on families, Dan knew his life's mission was to take what he had learned and share it with the world. In 1978, Dan introduced the first Kindermusik class, and soon the program had spread throughout the globe. Kindermusik with Yvette is now bringing Kindermusik to the Arden area at Skyland United Methodist Church. Located at 1984 Hendersonville Rd., the classes are held in the upstairs part of the church. Those wishing to attend should enter the door to the right of the main church doors, near the church offices. This unique program has been bringing joy to families for decades, and Kindermusik with Yvette is keeping the tradition alive. Parents and children alike can experience the same music program that Dan Pratt discovered in Germany so many years ago, a program that has been inspiring creativity and meeting developmental milestones ever since.
