Welcome to Tamarack Camps! If you’re new to our community or just new to the experience of being a camper parent, then you’ve come to the right place. We understand that sending your child away from home for the first time can be a difficult decision, which is why we are here to make you and your child feel at home. We have campers from all over the US, from Hawaii to Alaska, Florida, Arizona, California and beyond. Everyone is part of the same family, and we’ll make sure your camper feels at home in our summer home.
We are committed to making camp accessible to all and offer scholarships for Jewish families living in Michigan based on need. These scholarships are available for all programs throughout the summer. So no matter where you’re from, Tamarack Camps is a place where you can feel safe and supported.
Are you considering overnight camp for the first time? Camp Maas 10-day Mini Sessions are specifically catered to children entering 2nd-6th grades and are a perfect introduction to the Tamarack Camps experience. Campers enjoy the highlights of a full session at camp, where they participate in an array of fun and meaningful programs. The 10-day session provides a glimpse into overnight camping, without the commitment of a full 24-day session.

Campers in our Yachad Inclusion Program are fully integrated into villages with same-aged peers and participate in bunk and village activities. These campers are supported by highly skilled staff members who receive additional training.

Brighton Side: Campers entering 2nd - 5th grades
The Brighton Side, named after our beloved former campsite in Brighton, Michigan, is reserved for our youngest campers. It’s just a short walking distance from our private waterfront, sports fields, roller-skating/floor hockey rink, arts and crafts, and our new farm. Brighton Side programming and staff training is geared to provide the highest standard of care. Programs take into account the natural imagination of this age group, allowing kids to pretend, make-believe, and enjoy every day to the fullest.
