Dancing Studio

At Orion Oxford Dance Arts, families can experience the joy of dance and the thrill of competition. Our studio offers classes and instruction for dancers of all ages, and our Competitive Company has seen incredible success. Our dancers have earned Top Overall placements, Regional and National Championships, National Premier Cup Championships, awards for Studio Professionalism, and Choreography awards. We strive to help each dancer achieve their goals, while allowing for other activities. We are conscious of our schedule and try to avoid conflicts whenever possible, all while keeping prices affordable.

 This class 30-minute class for dancers ages 8 and up who are currently taking one or more of the ballet technique classes. This class will focus on a ballet routine to be performed in the annual recital.  This class requires at least one 60-90 minute ballet technique class. 

Performance Ballet

Our Preschool level classes are designed dancers ages 3-4.
Dancers will work to enhance their motor skills, as well as rhythm, flexibility, balance, and coordination, all while acquiring confidence, self-esteem and peer interaction. 
The Ballet and Tap combo classes are 45-minutes in length and give dancers the ability to develop the fundamental skills in dance, while introducing our young dancers to creative movement, ballet and tap. The Hip-Hop classes are 30-minutes in length and give dancers the ability to develop the fundamental skills, while introducing our young dancers to hip-hop.

Preschool Level Classes

Our Junior level classes are designed for dancers ages 7-9.
This is a 120-minute class that encompasses three genres; ballet/lyrical, tap, and jazz. Thirty minutes are focused on each of the genres, allowing students to further develop their terminology, technique and movement within each genre. Dancers have the option of taking one, two, three or all four of the genres (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop) in this level.

Orion Oxford Dance Arts

Although my daughters are interested in dance, they do not want to focus solely on it. This studio provides the chance to compete in dance every year while still having time for other activities. They continue to receive excellent guidance and care as they develop their skills. We are content here at the studio.
