​The KinderKids class structure promotes social skills, confidence, and independence.
Over the course of these 7 week sessions, the students are taught tap, ballet, and creative movement. The format of the KinderKids class is much like the Building Blocks class shown in this video.

KinderKids Ages: 3-5 

Contemporary dance combines the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, and expressiveness of jazz. In our contemporary classes, students will focus on technique while learning to dance using different emotions and expressions. Because a technical background is necessary for contemporary students, it is strongly recommended that dancers also enroll in ballet class or jazz classes. These supplemental classes can help dancers move with more ease and grace.

BLDC strives to provide a well–rounded dance education for our students. Through the study of multiple dance forms, our students are given the opportunity to reap the specific benefits of each discipline. Our Combination Classes are perfect for the dancer who wishes to explore various facets of dance. Al Gilbert’s world-renowned graded tap syllabus will be used in all tap portions of class along with supplementary methods to emphasize proper technique, rhythm, timing, musicality, and precise tap sounds.
