Wharton Center’s Young Playwrights Festival has given Michigan high school students the opportunity to see their one-act plays brought to life on the Pasant Theatre stage.

The National High School Musical Theater Awards honor outstanding student achievement in high school musical theater. Wharton Center sponsors Michigan’s state-wide contest, sending two winners to compete on a Broadway stage in New York City. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime.

Wharton Center for Performing Arts

I returned for the second time.  The first was for Wicked years ago, but this time was for my nephew's MSU choir holiday concert.  
My husband was in need of wheelchair or accessible seating. The row/section was two sections deep, so there was plenty of room for the wheelchair to maneuver.  We sat in chairs and folded the wheelchair together.  
The staff was extremely friendly and offered to store the wheelchair off to the side.

It was extremely simple to locate and park for an event. It was simpler than some of the larger venues I've visited in the past.
The layout was simple, and there were plenty of bathrooms, so there was no long wait before or after the show.
