At the YMCA of Southern Maine, we strive to promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility at all of our branches. Our Portland Branch has some particularly unique offerings that are sure to benefit your family. The branch is home to a gymnasium, four squash and racquetball courts, a men’s dormitory program, and the Greater Portland swim team. In addition, we offer In-Town Camp and Specialty summer day camps, and our Association office is housed at the branch. We encourage you to stop by or give us a call to learn more! PRESCHOOL

Preschool is offered at both our Casco Bay Branch and Northern York County Branch Community Child Care Center. Our staff are committed toward helping every child develop to their fullest potential physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We do this through the use of positive interactions, planned curriculum, and spontaneous learning moments. At the Y we nurture every child's development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. We work to ensure that kids participating in our programs are interacting with peers and positive role models and are having fun while building their self-esteem and social skills through a variety of organized enrichment activities and free play.

PRIME TIME

WHILE YOU'RE HERE CHILD WATCH Prime Time is our While-You-Are-Here child watch program. Designed to ensure families can enjoy the YMCA in a multitude of ways, Prime Time is available to members with a Family or Single Adult Family Membership.
