As avid equestrians themselves, Fernwood’s directors have very carefully crafted a horseback riding program based first on safety and suitability, but also on the fun. The horses in our camp riding program are owned by Fernwood and are trained year-round by our experienced full-time equestrian staff.
TRIPPING PROGRAM
Maine is the ideal setting for out-of-camp adventures! Each week on Trip Day our girls mountain climb, flat and white water canoe, rock climb, camp, sail, ride bikes and sight see at points of interest in the northern New England area.
