Cindy E06/15/20225First-generation campers like our kids absolutely adore it! More than just their "summer place," it is so much more. It serves as their family's second home.
James Y04/12/20225Words cannot express what a great haven this camp is for children of all ages! For my three children, who range in age from 8 to 11, Indian and Forest Acres is a profoundly transformative experience. The campers and staff are kind and encouraging, but they also give them a degree of independence and responsibility that nourishes them to grow and thrive to unthinkable degrees. Additionally, it promotes inclusion for everyone with kids from different backgrounds and locations! We were all given tremendous assistance as first-time and anxious campers this past summer, and we are already looking forward to next year!
Emma J04/22/20225Four generations of my family have sent campers to IA/FA. The days until my kid departs for her third summer are being counted down. She has developed her independence and strength, acquired a ton of wonderful friends, and daily gets to attempt a ton of new and exciting activities. Her second home is FA.
Zebby R05/18/202258 lovely summers at Forest Acres were spent by me. For six years, my brother attended Indian Acres. I can still clearly recall them today. I'm really appreciative that my parents sent us. Even though it has been 43 years since that time, remembering the friends I made and the numerous life lessons I acquired still brings me joy.
