Programs
Preschool & Kindergarten
Our preschool and kindergarten inclusive learning environments offer all children a safe, nurturing, and creative place to share ideas, and thoughts and question the world around them. A place where children can make connections, play and build relationships at a pace that is right for them. The children are viewed as capable, intelligent, and creative and the teacher’s role is to support and challenge them to help them reach their full potential.
Dual Language Programs (Spanish-English)
The Worcester Public Schools offers Spanish-English dual language programs from preschool through high school. Dual-language students learn content in both English and Spanish in integrated groups of students with diverse language backgrounds. The program's long-term goals are academic achievement, bilingualism and biliteracy, and sociocultural competence.
Summer School
We are excited to announce that our summer school program is designed to be fun, engaging, and aligned with academic activities that accelerate student learning. This summer we will be holding Summer School at one location per quadrant called Tutoring Hubs. Each Tutoring Hub will have increased staff to keep teacher-student ratio low. There will be a well thought out daily schedule with direct instruction from Worcester Public School Teachers with enriching interventions to support students’ learning. Students will be working in small groups for both reading and math. There will be an enrichment block for all students.
