About New England Small Circle Jujitsu Academy in Woburn, MA
The Street Practical Self Defense / Small Circle JuJitsu program for adults, teens, and kids has been serving the greater Boston area since 1990. In fact, people from all over five different states and even overseas have been taking part in this incredible program. Not only does it help with self-defense, but it also teaches students how to recognize and stay away from potential threats. Youth classes are available for kids ages 5 to 13 and teach children the basics of schoolyard safety and street smarts. Through the program, they can learn how to deal with bullying, how to identify threats, and how to protect themselves in dangerous situations. By the end of the program, kids will know how to properly deflect an attacker and get away safely.

BeAKid
Golden Eagles
Developed by Sensei Melaugh for 5- through 7-year-old boys and girls. This program teaches hand/eye coordination, self-discipline, focus, and concentration, and helps with memory. We teach self-protection skills while dealing with other students in the same age range. The thrust at this age, especially in self-protection, is not just to teach kids to kick and punch, as other martial arts do, but to develop the working knowledge of how to use good hand skills and body skills to take down that other person and hold them down so they don't fight anymore.

Super Samurai
Developed by Sensei Melaugh for 8- through 13-year-old boys and girls. Sensei Melaugh -- This goes further on the self-protection side. They're taught how to use Locking Control capabilities to stop someone from fighting any further. We teach the kids how to use joint locks and body control measures so that if someone is trying to hurt them they can stop them quickly, they can put them in a position so that other children or the adult can't fight back right away so they can get out of the situation safely.
