About The Dance Center

We strive to create a positive environment where each student can explore the art of dance, gain confidence, and express themselves. At The Dance Center we understand the importance of a supportive and nurturing environment. We work to ensure that each student feels safe and respected in the studio, enabling them to learn and grow. We focus on providing a positive atmosphere where children can discover and develop their love for dance. Our staff works to foster an atmosphere that is both challenging and encouraging, allowing students to gain self-esteem and discipline. In order to present dance as an art form, The Dance Center provides a quality teaching experience and performance. Our teachers are dedicated to helping our students learn the fundamentals of dance technique, composition, and performance. We are committed to creating an atmosphere where our students can explore and express their love for dance, while learning valuable life skills.

Summer Program
Our Summer Day Program is a great way to introduce your child to dance or to keep skills going through the summer! This year’s Theme Days include: Frozen, Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, Lion King, Trolls. Each day will have a different theme! We can’t wait to dance with you

Creative Movement (Ages 2.5-5 Years)
We offer an enriching Creative Movement program for our youngest dancers. During these classes, the basics of dance are taught with a dramatic flair using props and children’s literature. It is a wonderful educational introduction for preschoolers!

Ballet (Ages 6 and up)
The Dance Center believes strongly in providing thorough instruction in Ballet. Ballet is the foundation of dance and all technique disciplines are derived from Ballet.

Lyrical/Contemporary (Ages 6 & Up)
A ballet/jazz based class with the emphasis on a stylized movement to music with lyrics
