About Nadkarni Music Studio in Wilmington, MA
Welcome to Nadkarni Music Studio! Located in beautiful Wake Forest, NC, the studio offers lessons under the leadership of its founder, Danielle (Occhipinti) Nadkarni. Ms. Nadkarni has been a dedicated instructor of the clarinet and piano since 2007 and her passion for music has been the driving force behind her teaching. She has also taught for several music organizations including The Musicians Learning Center in Raleigh and the Wellesley Public Schools music extension program and the Dana Hall School School of Music. Her goal is to instill a great love of music in her students. Lessons are offered at her home studio, providing a unique and comfortable learning environment.

Programs at Nadkarni Music Studio in Wilmington, MA
BeAKid
Piano lessons
Piano lessons for children younger than 7 follow more of a Suzuki approach, where there is an emphasis on listening and technique, but not on learning to read music. This can vary depending on your own child’s reading level. I most often use My First Piano Adventure from the Faber method, or Keyboard Kickoff from the Piano Pronto series.

Clarinet lessons
Clarinet lessons start a little later, at age 9, when the teeth are well-developed and strong. I teach all levels, from beginner through advanced. My advanced degree is in clarinet performance, so I can teach all the way through college level.
