About The Starlight Stage Company in Williamstown, MA
It all started on October 31, 1975, when Jim and I held the first Starlight Stage Youth Theatre rehearsal at 2:10 PM. We were both working at Pine Cobble School in Williamtown MA and wanted to create a summer school. We both thought that a summer youth theatre would be a great addition to the school, and we were right! Over the next three summers, Jim and I ran Starlight Stage Youth Theatre as part of the summer school. We had a lot of fun and we made a lot of memories. We also grew the program to include not just middle schoolers, but high schoolers and even college students. Today, the Starlight Stage Youth Theatre continues to be a popular summer program. It all began 45 years ago in Williamtown MA, and we’re proud that we were able to bring this program to life.

Junior Starlight (ages 7 - 11)
We hope your child will become our next Starlight kid! half-day programs, operating five days per week for a five week period from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Some people ask how Starlight has lasted for so many years.

Rehearsal
Starlight focuses on the rehearsal and production of a full-length play each summer. We cast during the first few days – every student who wants to act will get a role. We then rehearse, build the sets, hang the lights, design the costumes, and organize front-of-house and backstage tasks.
