At Communities United (CUI), we believe that parents are the primary teachers in a child’s life and that volunteerism is essential to our philosophy and education curriculum. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CUI is run by an Executive Director and a volunteer Board of Directors. Our staff of 70 includes teachers, social service workers, and administrative personnel. Last year, CUI had 500 volunteers who donated more than 15,000 hours in classroom and other activities.
