About Marthas Vinyrd Community Service

The YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard is here to help local families and individuals reach their fullest potential. We work hard every day to meet the needs of our community and ensure that no one is ever turned away due to inability to pay. We are proud to be part of an organization that is committed to strengthening the community and helping people grow in every aspect. With a variety of programs and services geared towards families, individuals, and children, the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life on the Island. After School Program
After School Program runs Monday through Friday, from school dismissal until 6:00pm. We are asking families for a commitment of at least 2-day. You can register for as few as 2 days a week or as many as 5 days.

kindergarten orientation
The Y will provide 1/2 day care for the first two weeks of school (September 6th-9th AND September 12th-16th) for KINDERGARTNERS ONLY. Please select which days you will need in the right hand corner of the enrollment packet under Kindergarten Orientation.

Summer Camp
Camp Kindness is licensed and adheres to all guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. We are tuned in to the needs of today’s youth and the importance of instilling the four core values of the Y: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, throughout our programs.
