Infant Care

Rainbow Preschool & Childcare’s Infant Program is designed to meet the needs of each individual child. There is great emphasis to provide a lot of one-on-one attention that includes rocking, holding, singing, playing, and talking. Our early childhood educators create a relaxed but stimulating environment that is based on the emerging abilities of the child. A typical day includes listening to music, reading stories, playtime, cuddling, and lots of hugs.

Toddlers

Toddlers are invited to attend Rainbow Preschool & Childcare for either the morning session or a full day session. The Toddler Program offers a unique educational experience that fosters self-esteem, social, emotional, language and cognitive development as well as small and large motor skills. Our teachers provide a comfortable and interesting setting with many hands-on learning experiences. A typical day includes listening to music, reading stories, playtime, art, outside play, and lots of hugs.

Pre-K

The Preschool years are a time of tremendous emotional, social, and physical growth. Rainbow Preschool & Childcare’s educators understand that preschool aged children need to be able to grow in these areas with many opportunities to problem solve, discover, and create. Preschoolers are guided through the day with teacher directed small group activities, play centers, and curriculum that includes pre-math and pre-reading skills, arts and crafts, physical activities (both fine and gross motor), cooking, music, beginning science, beginning social studies, and optional extra-curricular activities like karate, dance, and field trips.
